For a freestanding range, the model and serial plate is commonly on the frame behind the bottom storage drawer or around the oven door opening. On a front-load washer, check the rim of the door opening or the back panel; a top-loader usually has it under the lid. A clear photo of that plate is the single most helpful thing you can send.

Clear the area in front of the appliance and, for a washer, have towels nearby in case water is still in the drum. If your street parking is limited or the driveway is shared, a short note about where to park saves time.
