Admiral Repair in East Charlotte, NC

About Admiral Appliances

Admiral is an American brand that began in the 1930s as a radio maker and later became a value line of refrigerators, laundry and cooking appliances under Magic Chef, Maytag and eventually Whirlpool ownership. The name is no longer a major presence in stores, so most Admiral appliances still in service are older, simple machines built on Maytag, Amana and Whirlpool platforms. With an Admiral, the first question is often whether the part still exists, so we identify the platform behind the model number and check whether a Maytag, Amana or Whirlpool equivalent fits before quoting. We are straightforward when a part is discontinued or only available as a substitute, and we tell you when replacement is the more sensible use of your money.

Where Admiral equipment tends to need service

• Worn refrigerator door seals
• Defrost timers and cold controls failing
• Mechanical washer and dishwasher timers
• Dryer thermal fuses and belts
• Range oven thermostats and coil elements
