Why is the top zone of my GE dual-zone wine center too warm?

First clean the front grille and make sure nothing blocks it, since undercounter units vent from the front. Confirm the door seals and the room is not unusually hot. If the zone still drifts, a fan or sensor may be failing and is worth a diagnosis.

For a fan, sensor or control failure, usually yes, especially since a built-in replacement must match the cabinet opening. A failed sealed system on an inexpensive model may not be worth it, and we will say so.
