Houses, Apartments & Condos Across the Charlotte Area
Outside town, natural gas lines are less common, and many homes cook with propane. Propane ranges need the correct orifices and regulator settings, and a range moved from a natural gas home without conversion may burn poorly or produce yellow, sooty flames. That should be checked before the range is used further.

ProFix Appliance Repair Charlotte — appliance repair across the Charlotte region. Same-day appointments when the schedule allows.
Ice storms and frozen water lines
Winter in the Carolinas is mild most of the time, but an ice storm with a power outage can freeze water lines in uninsulated laundry rooms or crawl spaces. A washer left with water in its pump, or a refrigerator water line running along a cold exterior wall, can crack. After a cold snap, check for leaks before running the washer or dispenser, and call us if you find water.
Planning your Oakboro visit
Because Oakboro is at the edge of our service area, appointments may be scheduled in route blocks. Have the model and serial numbers ready, describe the problem clearly and mention whether you are on propane or a well. That helps us bring the right parts and finish on the first trip whenever possible.
