My LG washer shows LE. Is the motor bad?

Not necessarily. LE can appear when the drum is overloaded or something is jammed, and also when the rotor position sensor or stator wiring fails. Remove part of the load and restart it. If the code returns with a normal load, the motor components need testing.

Water came through the ceiling under our upstairs laundry room in Indian Trail. What first?

Turn off both water valves behind the washer and unplug it, then mop up and let the area dry. Do not run another load until the source is found. We can check the hoses, door boot, pump and tub seals to pinpoint where the water came from.

Upstairs Laundry Rooms and What Can Go Wrong
