Why does only one side of my Smeg dual-fuel range work?

A dual-fuel range uses gas for the burners and electricity for the oven, so if the burners light but the oven is dead, the issue is usually on the electrical side: a tripped breaker, a failed element, a fan or the control. If the oven works and the burners will not light, the spark module or gas supply is the place to look. We test both.
