Why is only one zone of my Thor wine cooler warm?

Each zone relies on its own sensor and air circulation, so a failed fan or sensor in that zone is the usual cause. Check that bottles are not blocking the vent at the back of the zone. If it stays warm, the fan and sensor need testing.

Common faults and a simple first check

Most wine cooler problems come back to airflow or temperature control. A built-in unit that breathes through a front grille can overheat if the grille is blocked, and a freestanding model pushed tight against a wall will struggle in a warm room. Unplug it, clean the grille or rear coils and give it space before calling. Also make sure the door closes against a clean, flexible gasket, since humid summer air sneaking past a worn seal leaves condensation on bottles and frost on the cooling plate.

If it still runs warm, the fan motors, the temperature sensor and the control board are the usual suspects. Thermoelectric coolers, which use no compressor, are more sensitive to room heat than compressor models.
