Why does my Electrolux dryer run but not heat?

On electric models it is often a thermal fuse, high-limit thermostat or heating element. On gas models the igniter or valve coils are common. A blown fuse usually means the vent is restricted, so the vent needs attention too.

Dust, Nests and Long Drying Times

In rural homes, dryers often sit in a utility room, back porch or garage, close to outside air that carries field dust and pollen.
