This usually means moisture or a fault in a switch or spark module. Let the cooktop dry completely after cleaning. If it continues, a burner valve switch or module may need replacement.

Not necessarily. Induction zones are often driven by separate boards or coils, so one zone can fail while the rest work. Check that your pan is magnetic and sits flat. If the zone still will not respond, we can test the board and coil behind it.

Many have automatic reignition: each burner has an electrode and a spark module that senses when the flame goes out and relights it. Rangetops often include a griddle or grill section with its own burner and thermostat. Because they are fixed into the counter, access for service is from above or through the cabinet below.

Pro-Style Rangetops and Induction Surfaces

A separate cooktop is common in the larger kitchens around Waxhaw and Marvin.
