Who made my Kenmore freezer?

Most standalone Kenmore freezers were built by Frigidaire and carry a 253 model prefix. That means parts and repairs follow Frigidaire's design. The model number label is usually on the side or back of the cabinet.

We came back to our Cornelius lake house and the garage freezer had thawed. What should we do?
