My True freezer's fan does not run after defrost. Why?

A fan delay control keeps the evaporator fan off until the coil gets cold again. If that control fails, or defrost never fully terminates, the fan can stay off and the cabinet warms. We test the control and the defrost sequence.

We came back to our Cornelius lake house and the garage freezer had thawed. What should we do?

Discard food that thawed, then check whether the freezer has power and restarts. If it runs but will not get cold, or keeps shutting off, schedule a diagnosis. A temperature alarm can warn you next time.
