Is LG EasyClean supposed to remove all the grease?

No. EasyClean is a short, lower-temperature cycle meant for light soil, and heavier buildup needs scrubbing or a full self-clean on models that have one. Residue after EasyClean is not usually a fault. If the oven heats poorly during cleaning or normal baking, that is worth checking.

My gas oven takes a long time to heat in my East Charlotte home. Is it the igniter?

That is the most likely cause. As igniters age they draw less current, so the safety valve opens late or not at all. We measure it to confirm and replace it if needed, which is one of the more common gas oven repairs.

Our oven door won't close tightly anymore. Can that be repaired?
