Roper Freezers: What We Check First

Roper-badged standalone freezers are uncommon, so most Roper freezer problems we see involve the freezer compartment on top of a Roper refrigerator. That compartment is where all the cooling happens: the evaporator coil sits behind its rear panel, the evaporator fan sits just above it, and the defrost heater and thermostat keep the coil clear. Garage Heat and Long Outages
