Why is my Atosa ice machine making less ice in summer?

Ice machines lose capacity as room and water temperatures rise, and a Charlotte summer pushes both up. A dirty condenser or a hot, cramped back bar makes it worse. Cleaning the condenser and improving airflow often restores a good part of the output.

Atosa ice machines are cube makers, offered as self-contained undercounter units and as modular heads that sit on a separate bin. Water is pumped over a refrigerated evaporator plate, cubes form in the cells, and when the machine senses they are full it switches into a hot-gas harvest that warms the plate and drops the ice. The cycle repeats around the clock as long as the bin has room.

Water Lines and Filters in Compact Kitchens

When a refrigerator has been pushed hard against the wall in a compact Pineville kitchen, the plastic or copper water line behind it can kink or crack, and the ice maker is the first thing to stop. Check the shutoff arm, replace an old filter and look for kinks once the fridge is pulled out. If water is pooling, close the supply valve. The technician tests the valve, ice maker module and freezer temperature, and quotes before any repair.
