A single motor turns the drum by a belt and spins the blower wheel directly. Electric models use a coil heating element with a high-limit thermostat and a thermal cutoff on the heater housing, plus a thermal fuse on the blower housing. Gas models use an igniter, flame sensor and gas valve coils.
