How do I clean the filters in my Maytag dishwasher?

Remove the lower rack, twist out the lower filter and lift out the upper filter. Rinse both under warm water with a soft brush, then reinstall them firmly. Doing this every month or so prevents many problems.

Retrofits into older cabinets
