Island dishwashers and hidden leaks
A dishwasher installed in an island runs its drain and supply lines through the floor or across the cabinet base to the sink. Those long runs can kink, and a slow drip from the door or a loose connection may go unnoticed until the cabinet floor swells or a musty smell appears.
