Many have electronic oven controls with touch keys and some include Frozen Bake, air fry or Wi-Fi features. The oven and cooktop share a cabinet, wiring and on electric models a single 240-volt power supply, so diagnosing a range means looking at how the parts work together.

Two systems in one appliance

A range is a cooktop and an oven sharing one frame, so a dead bake element or a weak oven igniter does not mean the burners are failing too.
