Only the inner ring of my LG radiant element works. Why?

Dual and triple elements have separate rings controlled by a switch or relay. If only the inner ring heats, the outer ring, its switch or the wiring has likely failed. We test each part and replace only what is needed.

Island Cooktops, Glass Tops and Induction

Induction units in larger homes rely on electronics and cooling fans, and they are sensitive to surges after storms.

Safe Checks Before We Arrive

For gas, make sure burner caps sit flat and ports are dry, and never adjust the gas supply. If you smell gas, get everyone outside and call the gas utility or 911. For electric and induction units, turn off the breaker before cleaning, and stop using any cracked glass top.
