They pair a gas or induction cooktop with electric ovens that heat on demand, often including a conventional oven, a fan oven, a broiler and sometimes a slow-cook or warming oven. They are popular with owners who love the AGA look but do not want a cooker that runs all day.

Slide-In and Convection Ranges

When a kitchen is updated, the old freestanding unit is often replaced with a slide-in range that has front controls, a convection fan and sometimes a warming drawer.
