The burners on my Thor dual-fuel range work but the oven won't heat. Why?

The oven runs on electricity, so it can fail independently of the gas cooktop. A partly tripped breaker, a burned-out element or a failed control relay are the most likely causes. Reset the breaker fully, and if the oven stays cold, the elements and board need testing.

Our slide-in range in Mint Hill will not stop beeping after the power came back. What should we do?

Reset the breaker and check for control lock or a stuck key on the touch panel. If the beeping or an error continues, the touch panel or board may be damaged, and a technician can test them.

Thor's dual-fuel ranges pair gas burners on top with an electric convection oven below, so the range needs both a gas line and a 240-volt circuit. The brand also sells electric and induction ranges in the same pro-style shell. That split matters for diagnosis, because a dual-fuel Thor can have a perfectly healthy cooktop and a dead oven, or the other way around, and the two halves fail for completely different reasons.
