My Blomberg washer will not unlock the door. What should I do?

Front-load washers keep the door locked while water remains inside. Try running a drain or spin cycle, or clean the drain pump filter at the bottom front. If the door still will not unlock, the lock or control may need service.

My washer is in a shed behind my Plaza Midwood bungalow. Will freezing weather hurt it?

It can. Water left in the hoses, pump or valve can freeze and crack them during an ice storm or cold snap. Shut the supply valves and disconnect the hoses before a hard freeze, and let us know if you see leaks afterward.
