My LG washer shows LE. Is the motor bad?

Not necessarily. LE can appear when the drum is overloaded or something is jammed, and also when the rotor position sensor or stator wiring fails. Remove part of the load and restart it. If the code returns with a normal load, the motor components need testing.

Porch hookups, old standpipes and simple machines

When a washer in an older Kannapolis home will not drain, the machine is not always to blame.
