Why does my Frigidaire induction cooktop beep and shut off?

Beeping and shutoff can mean the cookware is not compatible, the controls are wet, or the electronics are overheating. Check the pan with a magnet, dry the controls and make sure the fan intake is clear. If it continues, the fan or boards may need testing.

One burner on my Locust gas cooktop will not light. Is it the igniter?

Possibly, or the burner cap may be out of position or the ports clogged. Dry and reseat the cap first. If it still will not light, we test the igniter and spark module.
