Roper Microwaves: What We Check First

Roper has never been a big name in microwaves, and you will not find many Roper-badged units in local kitchens. When one does turn up, it is a Whirlpool-sourced countertop or over-the-range model with the same basic layout as other budget microwaves: a magnetron, a high-voltage transformer, capacitor and diode, a set of door interlock switches, a turntable motor and, on over-the-range units, a vent fan and light. When repair makes sense here

A basic countertop microwave in a Clover kitchen is usually cheaper to replace than to repair.
