Why does one burner on my Frigidaire electric range only heat on high?

That usually points to a failed infinite switch controlling that burner. The switch should cycle power to the burner at lower settings. Replacing it is a common and inexpensive repair.

One appliance, two systems

A range combines a cooktop and an oven, so a fault on one side does not mean the whole unit is done.
