Why does my Dacor burner relight itself or click when the flame looks fine?

The reignition system watches for a flame at the burner. If the cap is crooked, the burner is dirty or a switch is wet, it may misread the flame and keep sparking. Reseating and drying the parts often fixes it; if not, we test the switch and module.

Coil burners, propane and glass tops
